PINE RIDGE WOMEN'S CLUB ~ we are a place to meet, make new friends, share ideas, learn, and help our community.


Pine Ridge Women's Club, established in Magalia, California in 1981, has been dedicated to the betterment of our community.  We raise the funds needed to assist our community through various fundraisers throughout the year, monthly drawings at our luncheons, and outside donations.

The Alma Collins Scholarship Fund, which was founded by one of our former presidents, has been ongoing for many years.  We are currently assisting two students with their college expenses.

The students come to our luncheon once or twice a year to inform us of their progress, their appreciation of our assistance, and, of course, their graduation from college.  Nothing is more rewarding to us than to know we have contributed, even in a small way, to the betterment of these young people.  Since the Scholarship program was founded many years ago, Pine Ridge Women's Club has donated more than $50,000 to local, qualified college students!

Our general luncheon meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, except for July and August, when we take a break for summer.  We currently meet at the Paradise Pines Property Owners Association at 14211 Wycliff Way in Magalia.  Social hour with no-host cocktails is from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.  The meeting is called to order at 11:45 a.m. and lunch is at approximately 12:00 noon, followed by a program featuring a speaker or entertainment, then the conclusion of the meeting.  We usually conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m.

Our board meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at the Racine Center on Racine Circle in Magalia (the location may change on certain months). July and August are usually dark, depending on the decision of the current President.  The board meeting begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.  All Club members are welcome to attend to give their input, see how the Executive Board functions, and to be an integral part of Club decisions.

Currently, our yearly dues are $15 (tax deductible) and our luncheon cost is $14.  Drawing tickets are available at each meeting and special drawings are also held throughout the year.
